Napoleon who fought and lost | Chapter 1

1769

Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean Sea. It was at that time that Corsica was invaded by the French. France was one of the most powerful armies at that time. The French army was led by highly skilled soldiers. Modern weapons were in their hands. But Corsica was the opposite.

Corsica was an island that was conquered by many countries at different times. They had a very weak army. They did not have a strong leader. However, they continued to fight against France as they grew stronger. It was a war that lasted for about 2 months.

Gradually, the Corsican army could not keep up with the French army. They really realized the lack of a strong leader. Corsica soon surrendered to the French.

It was the people of Corsica who really knew the depth of that war. Many of them lost their homes, many lost their families, many lost their friends. The people of Corsica absolutely hated France. They also hated the king of France who ordered the war. They also hated the very throne that made him command. An ambition arose in the minds of the people of Corsica that one of their own should occupy that throne.

But no matter how much revolution they had within them, they could do nothing because they were under France. The people of Corsica could not even see a throne, let alone sit on a throne. They realized that their ambition was futile. That desire has faded from every mind that lives in Corsica. Yes, from the minds that live there.

But not a single one of them thought that the desire would settle in a mind born there. A few days after France conquered Corsica, a baby was born there.

They also gave the baby a name.

Napoleon Bonaparte

From a young age, Napoleon had in mind to become a world-known warrior. He was admitted to a military school in France at the age of 9. Napoleon excelled in mathematics and history during his school days.

After 7 years at the age of 16 he climbed the first step of his dream. Napoleon was commissioned as an officer in the artillery strike division of the French army. It was at that time that a revolution began in France.

That revolution in which the people lost faith in the monarchy.

Napoleon also supported the soldiers without revolution. The army led by Napoleon was fighting with great strength. With that, the French Revolution started to make Napoli famous in a small way.

And so the years of war finally ended the monarchy in France. But the French Revolution caused great concern in Europe. It created fear in other kings that the wind of revolution would take over many other countries. They feared that what had happened to the royal families of France would happen to them. They came together to find a way out of this.

So after hours of discussion, they made that decision.

The monarchy must be brought back to France. War is the way. So other European countries started preparing for war against France. They formed an alliance with the various countries bordering France.

But these highly secretive deliberations were leaking. Information was reaching leaders in France. They had no idea what to do with the information. But at least it can be done.

So France finally made that strange decision.

"Everyone around us is against us. There is no one to help us. We cannot withstand their violence. But we cannot fail. That is why we take that decision. Before they all attack us, we attack them."

So France declared war on all the surrounding countries. The army led by Jordan Mauro on the northern border should lead the war. There was no southern border, and the army led by Napoleon was deployed. Napoleon provided the worst military class of the bunch. There was a reason for that. They wanted a little war there. The small battle was meant to distract the Allied forces from their real objective.

But Napoleon was not aware of this war strategy of the leaders. He made the army he had acquired strong by his words of encouragement and by his battle tactics. Although physically they were behind. Mentally, Napoleon took them to greater heights.

And so the war began….

Napoleon started the war with Italy. They had much more members than them. Because of that, the same war strategy used by many soldiers in Napoleonic history was also used here.

He divided his army into smaller units. After that, the large army started to attack from many sides. Italy did not understand this strategy of Napoleon. They fought with victory in sight. But little by little Napoleon's vultures began to devour Italy. Thus Italy fell to Napoleon. After completely conquering Italy and entering Austria's territory, Napoleon moved with his army towards V. Vyenna was sure to fall. Thus, Austria decided to make peace with France. Thus, at the age of 28, he defeated Austria by conquering Italy, defeating an army that was stronger and stronger than his own.

Napoleon proclaimed French rule in conquered Italy. Some parts of Italy were annexed by Napoleon to France. Napoleon was welcomed by the French people with festivity. Even the leaders of that country had not received such a big welcome. Napoleon had settled in the minds of the people of France. Napoleon's war stories became the talk of the whole country. People began to see him as a king.

But this fame of Napoleon did not make the same impression on everyone in France. There were some people in France who didn't like it.

French government leaders. More people were supporting Napoleon than they were supporting the government and the fear of Napoleon taking power was also born in their minds. And so to move against Napoleon, moves began within Napoleon's own country.

Napoleon who was defeated by the world.

And so the kings of Europe gathered for a second war with France. But this time there was one more thing, a very dangerous country called Russia was also present in that meeting. In short, all the superpowers of the world came forward to subjugate a single man. They started many preparations for the war. By all means they were ready to crush Napoleon. But their conspiracies and preparations were not known to the outside world. They were especially careful not to repeat what had happened before. The custom of the time was to inform both sides when a war was about to break out. But the European organization was not interested in following any rules. Because it is not a normal war between two countries. It is an extraordinary war between many nations against an extraordinary man. Here the goal is only apparent in their eyes. So without any warning the European Union attacked France and they started the attack on the northern border. Communication was very slow in those days. Therefore Nap...
